VBA-How to disable builtin controls

Hi,
In Office 2003 it was easy to disable or even hide a builtin control. Is
there a way to disable a builtin ribbon control in PP2007. In particular I
want to disable ViewMaster control , in my VBA code .

Thanks, I was hoping there is a simple method just like in PP2003, but I
guess not and I need to learn how to do this using XML.
