VBA control disappears when copy sheet

Hello
I need help with a problem i cannot understand.
I'm using office 2003 and i have an excel document with several sheets.
Some of that sheets have vba controls, in particular checkbox controls.
When i create a copy of one of those sheets, the entire sheet is copied but
without checkboxes.
Can anyone help with this problem?

How are you copying the sheet?

Are you using:
Edit|Move or copy sheet

Yes, that's it.
I just copy the sheet to a new sheet on the same document.

I've never seen this happen.

If you start a new workbook and put some checkboxes on them and do the same
copying, do the checkboxes disappear, too?

(I don't have a guess...)

I've already tryed to do that but the problem only happens with that workbook.
I also tryed to create a new sheet on the same workbook and no problem with
the new sheets.
The problem only happens with a specific set of sheets.

Do you have any macros that are "helping" out?

Maybe opening that workbook with macros disable would be the next test.

Macros are by default disabled.
In fact i don't use any macro on the entire worksheet.
I have the checkbox only because of the user experience to check and uncheck
options.

Maybe it's time to recreate those offending worksheets (or the entire
workbook)????
