got one of these and it beeps constantly!

i haven't got the thermal probes taped to anything they are just hanging
loose in my system

anyhow it beeps constantly

also when i plug my CPU fan 3 pin connector into the 3 pin connector coming
from the vantec the CPU fan doesn't spin, I also have the 3 pin connector
labelled "M.B." in the mainboard

I noticed that on the circut board is printed next to the one that says "To
M.B" on the 3 pin connetor, on the board it says "TO CPU" and the one that
says to CPU on the 3 pin connector says "TO MB" on the circut board

could these have been mixed up and that being the reason why the fan wont
spin when i have it all hooked up?

I am planning to get one of these myself. Have you turned the knob to
full?
Did you connect the MB out back to the mobo's CPU 3pin fan header? I am
guessing the beeps comes from your mobo telling you the CPU fan's not
installed, or at least the 3 pin header not plugged in.

no the beeping is coming from the vantec panel

my cpu is hooked up normally to its fan and i have had the fan hooked up to
the vantec panel and the fan doesn't spin, i wouldn't reccomend this panel
to be honest, it seems a bit buggy to me
