#Value! error in one cell but not another....

Curious problem here and I'm pulling out what hair I have left...

Averaging a range of cells if the value of that cell is > the minimum, which
would be 0 (zero). The formula works when I put it in one cell, but gives me
a #Value! error if I put it elsewhere.

formula is:
=AVERAGE(IF($T$34:$AC$34>MIN($T$34:$AC$34),$T$34:$AC$34))

I've checked the format of the cells.. all are numbers,2

Am I blind? Why can't I see the cause of this error?

What I'm really after is an average of the cells referenced only if the
value is > 0 (zero). Maybe I need a different way to go about it.

I must add that I've inherited this spreadsheet and all its issues.

This is an array formula that must be entered/edited using ctrl+shift+enter
vs just enter. Perhaps?

That's what I thought and I tried it with the ctrl+shift+enter, but still no
go. In fact, when I just use the Enter key, the formula works in just a few
cells.

Why would it work in some cells and not others?
