Validating Dates in a form

Hi,

First all - I recommendation for FP is to have a validation rule of DATE...
It just seems so common...

Anyway, by now you know my question.. How can I validate that a proper date
has been put into a field ?

If there an addon or another plugin to have more enhanced forms ?
