Valid Mail Going To Spam Folder

Some valid, safe mail is going to my spam folder. Often it's plain text
messages that are coming from people in my contacts. The message is
higlighted in "Red" as possibly unsafe and placed in my Spam Folder.

This normally happens when the mail contains a hyperlink?

The spam filter in WM is quite aggressive.

Ensure that your senders are added to safe sender list, that they or their
domain does not appear in blocked senders list.
All the available options are on the Tools Menu>Junk Mail Options.

Thanks... but all that has been done, and there are no hyperlinks. The box
"Also trust email from my Windows Contacts" has been checked. Some of these
blocked emails are coming from people who have accounts with the same ISP as
I do. One of the blocked emails was from myself at hotmail.com. Also, none
of the addresses or domains are reflected in my "Block Senders" list. This
is very strange and annoying... but is not a critical issue, because I
quickly scan through my spam folder dailly. It's particulary odd that they
stand out in "Red". Actually though.... they are easier to spot <grin>.
Most of the spam messages in 'Red' are in fact valid messages <grin>.

I am having the exact same problem. I'm using WM in Vista Home Premium.

No matter what Tools settings I use, I get user e-mails who are NOT on my
blocked senders list (who are ON my approve senders list) that ALWAYS go
directly into my Spam folder. There does not seem to be any way to stop this
from happening, despite what's been said in this thread.

I believe the red color indicates a suspected "phishing" email.
The only way to whitelist your 'phishy' senders is to turn of the anti-phishing
feature: Tools, Junk E-mail options, Phishing, uncheck the box.
