V2 Premier e/w Windows XP and LEXMARK 6150 Printer

Dandy Don

Very often a document that I just printed gets "hung-up"
in the print que and I can no longer print a thing. I get
no error messages of any kind. It just sits there when I
click on print. I try to cancel the job but the document
remains. The only way I can get rid of it is to restart
the computer and the document clears. Then I am able to
print.

Support at V2 Premier says the computer seems okay.
Lexmark support says the printer seems okay.

I'm getting frustrated,,,,HELP!

Check your host controller. V2 Premier is infamous for
installing the Via chipset which doesn't respond correctly
in XP.
R|C My Computer | Click manage | Click Device Manager |
Click on the + sign nextto Universal Serial Bus
Controller. If it shows a Via host controller go to V2
Premier's website and get the update to the chipset. It'll
show as the Hyperion 4-in-1.
