Using Word 2007 .docx files in earlier versions

Is there a converter available to allow people with earlier versions
of Word to open .docx files from Office 2007? Optionally, a viewer
that I could run and cut/paste from would also do the trick.

The compatibility pack can be downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941B3470-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466.

It isn't a simple converter, but a new set of executables for the Office 2003
applications, plus registration of the new file types so Windows Explorer and
similar programs can recognize and launch them.
