Using WIN+E

When I open up a new explorer window by using Win+E shortcut, on the left I
can see the Folder menu fully open, which overlaps the upper one (favorite
links).

Is there a way to reverse this behavior and have the upper one fully
extended, while the lower one (folders) just left iconized?
Every time I have to do it manually, as I use a lot folder links.
Thank you for your time, Ric

Hi,

Open Windows Explorer, then drag the divider bar between those segments down
so that it is positioned the way you want it. To drag it down, hover the
mouse cursor at the top of the divider until a double arrow appears, then
left click and hold while dragging. Now, hold the ctrl key down and close WE
by clicking file/exit (if you don't have the file menu available, enable it
under Organize/Layout). See if this holds the changes for you.
