Using Unicode characters in filenames.

XP Pro SP2 English version.

In MS Word I used Latin Extended-A characters in the document. Sometimes I
will spell my name on how its pronounced. This means I use the dash above
the "e" ect., these are in Unicode. I copied and pasted the pronunciation
style characters for the filename. However when viewing the filename in
Windows Explorer, it does not display the Unicode characters, instead it
shows "|".

My Question:
Is there a way to have Windows Explorer show Unicode characters in
filenames?

Thanks,

Mark
