Using the find record command button

I have created a command button (Using the cmd button wizard) to bring up
the find a record dialog box.(Equivalent to using the binoculars)
However I would like more control over the dialog box. eg Not have the
replace feature appear. Also having the "Match:" option always default to
"Any Part of Field".

Can anyone help me with this or perhaps have code to create my own dialog
box and find a record based upon "Any Part of Field".

Any help greatly appreciated.

The answer to the second part of your question is to go to
the Tools menu choice, select Options, and set the default
Edit/Find behaviour to be the behaviour you want.

John,
Not sure about how to rid yourself of the Replace tab,
but I found that going into Options, then select the
Edit/Find tab and then make sure General Search is
selected,I then always got Any Part Of Field.

Hope that helps.
