Using Remote Desktop

Little background on me....2 years experience as a System
Administrator....working a very small office but that is changing and we have
another office out of town and it is growing......I'm getting more and more
calls from out of town about computer problems and it is taking more time on
the phone than if i were in the same office and just could walk over and fix
the problem. I tested out using Remote Desktop just to see if i could connect
inside this office. Worked great w/ one problem. when i log off from the
remote desktop it crashes the remote pc and you have to turn the machine off
and reboot. When i say crash I mean the remote pc has the dialog box stating
that the machine is locked and can only be unlocked by the user or the
admin....you hit control alt delete and then it crashes.....nothign on the
screen....have not checked the event log as suggested in another forum but i
will do that right now.....

What did i miss?

Anyone have any good link about Remote Desktop for me to read?

TIA!!

Why not - when you are done 'fixing' the issue at hand - reboot the remote
machine and tell the user to log on.
Problem worked-around - not to mention a reboot now and then on a windows
system - not a bad thing.
