Using public Contacts from Webaccess

I have set up a new Windows 2003 Server with Exchange 2003. Many users are located in small offices around the country and need to access their e-mail using Outlook Webaccess. I have created a public Contacts folder, which is maintained and updated locally

The external users can access (view) this public Contacts folder just fine, but how can they actually use it to send e-mail to someone?

They'd have to copy and paste the email address into a new mail message.

Thank you for your answer

This really does not seem like a convenient way of working with Outlook. Are there really no better practises presenting Outlook public contacts to remote users, without using RAS or VPN to accomplish this?

OWA is not intended to be a fully featured solution. If you want all the
features in desktop Outlook, you need to use desktop Outlook.
