I am having problems using Powerpoint 2003 files in Powerpoint 2007,
specifically when editing text boxes. I cannot select the text directly and
the text show split in half. Any ideas whta is going on?

Thanks

What do you mean by "split in half"? Do you see only the lower half of your
text?
Then please make sure that you have a local printer driver installed as the
standard printer on the computer with PPT 2007 (you need not attach or even
own a printer, but Office needs printer information for on-screen display,
too).

Best regards,
Ute

Hi

The issue is the default printer used. We have a RICOH 1045 and when this
is the default printer (even if locally installed, the issue happens). When
any other printer is defined as default, then the issue goes away. We have
loaded the latest drivers from the RICOH site.

Thanks

Ted
