Using Paste Link

I made a Query in Access 2007 and used to Copy buttons to put a copy on the
clipboard.
Then I opened Excel 2007 and tried to use the Paste Link option. But all I
get is the Hour Glass.

Is there a way to paste this Query as a Link into Excel?

Thanks,

Hi,

Try it from inside Excel. Choose Data, Get External Data, From Access,
locate the file and click Open, pick the table or query you want and click
OK, OK.

The resulting table will be linked back to Access and refresh it anytime by
choosing Table Tools, Design, Refresh. Or you can click the Data, Refresh
All command. In 2007 there are also shortcut keys for Refresh and Refresh
All - Alt+F5, and Ctrl+Alt+F5.

If this helps, please click the Yes button
