Hi,

I have been using Outlook 2003 on my laptop which has just died
unfortunately and I didn't back up... Anyway, I have now started using
Outlook 2003 on a different computer and have logged in successfully and am
receiving mail. My question is, is there any way of retrieving already read
and received messages in the same email account but one's that were opened on
another computer? If this is at all possible, is there also anyway of
retrieving already 'sent' messages that, again, were sent from a different
computer but the same email address?

Hope someone can help!

Did the HDD die or was it some other component?

Not unless that instance of Outlook was set to leave a copy on the server -
which you obviously didn't.

If it wasn't the HDD that died you can buy a USB external 2.5" HDD enclosure
for very little money which will enable you to retrieve all your data from
it onto your new computer.....

Thanks Gordon, but the hard drive died completely and no data was
retrievable. Oh well, was worth a try! Thanks.
