Hello. I have done this on my 2 desktops. But, I cant rememer the correct
address to use when setting up a newgroup account in OE so that I can read
newsgroups from there, (on my new Laptop pc)
Also,I noticed that when I open OE on the LT, that a thing called Plaxo
opens up. it has a different toolbar. It requires registration. i hit cancell
until I know more about this.
Help is appreciated

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Cynanthis asked:

The newsgroup you are using now is carried by msnews.microsoft.com

Plaxo a a third party contact add-in. Uninstall it if you do not use it.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
