For example, I work alot with reports which contains lists of figures
that goes from $1 to $1 million..how do I line up these numbers so they
look nice and neat, without having to use spaces.
I guess I can use excel, and then copy the results to word.
In word, I normally insert a table and would type in a bunch of figures
like the one below and use a space to line everything up.
$1,234,567.89
$123,456.78
$12,345.67
$1,234.56
$123.45
$12.34
$1.23
=========
$1,371,630.92 (total)
And yes, I do need the $ and commas and decimal point. I work in
accounting and need to be precise. Though, the dollar sign does not
need to move, just the numbers have to line up.
