Using Flash in a custom animation

I have successfully imported a Flash animation file into a PowerPoint slide
but I seem to be unable to time it in relation to other objects (text boxes,
sound, or photos). When I highlight the Flash object, there are no options
available in the custom animation window. If I want to delay the beginning
of the Flash file, what do I need to do? I would also like to assign actions
to it after it completes, but don't seem to be able to do it. I already
tried to embed the Flash file in a text box and grouped it with another
object to see if I could time it that way, but it won't work.

Don't think you can delay the flash animation in PowerPoint. One way you can
try out is to have a duplicated slide before the actual one. On the
duplicated slide, delete the flash file and replace it with an image or
something. On the actual slide, delete any animations you have added. When
viewing in slide show, the flash should start only when you press enter.

Thanks - I figured I'd have to invent something to make it look like I want -
I'll give it a shot.
