Using Disc Cleanup in XP

I set up Disc Cleanup in Start Menue in XP to start when turn on my desktop.
I just got DSL and I see a high numbers of files that are always in Temporary
Files when I get finish with my PC. Is it OK for the Disc Cleanup in start
menue to stay running without hurting anything. I looked in Scheduled Tasks
and it was running after I was on the PC for 20 minutes. Is this OK???

There's nothing wrong with running the Disk Cleanup Wizard when you
start Windows, but it's overkill and just competes with other
applications for processing power. It's slowing your computer. Run the
Wizard manually once a week if you want. Once a month is also fine.
