Using Chart in a Form

Hi,

I am trying to put a chart in a form. I use the chart wizard and answer all
the questions. While i'm doing this i press on the prview key to see what
my output will look like and it looks correct. When i press the finish key i
get a chart in my form but it is the wrong one. I get a what seems like a
sample chart displaying sales for 3 regions by quarter. No mater what i do,
this is the chart the appears.

I expect the chart will display correctly in the form view. If you want the
design view to look correct, you should open the Row Source in datasheet view
and copy the records to the clip board. Then paste them into the datasheet of
the design of the actual chart.

Actually on a form it is even easier than that. Set the data values of...

Enabled = Yes
Locked = No

....for the chart object. Then you can double-click to get to the chart
designer while the form is in normal view instead of design view. When you
do this in normal view the chart designer will display the same live data as
you were looking at before invoking the designer.
