Using an HD camera with Movie Maker

I have used a Sony DV camera via a firewire to load images in Movie Maker.
Now I have a new HD camera and it has only USB outputs. I tried to download
images into Movie Maker but it will not recognize. Any suggestions?

Actually MM in XP does not work with HD, so it won't help knowing the brand
and mode
You either need Vista which is HD capable in MM or another video app which
is HD capable.
