Using an alias for Sender in an Outlook email merge

I am trying to send surveys out from our College with the College name as the
Sender. We have succesfully added another account with the College name that
I can send on behalf of, and it works when sending individual emails; but not
when using mail merge in Outlook (just like delivery options don't work
unless you set them globally.) My TS have even gone through the trouble of
changing my alias to the College name, but it still does not work when using
mail merge. Anyone have a solution or workaround?

You would have to start Outlook with a mail profile that logs directly onto the other account.
