Using a picture as background

Entirely too weird for words, but when's that ever stopped us from flinging 'em
around anyhow?

Sonia's idea re the PCB (or PIP if PPT2003) file(s) is a *very* good one, IMO.

It really sounds as though a bit has gotten flipped the wrong way round ... it
does happen once in a while with the inches vs CM setting from Control Panel.

Except that I think that Echo nailed it. If you set your display to "High
Contrast", PowerPoint adds High Contrast as one of the View " Color/Grayscale"
options and sets it as the default. High Contrast removes the background and
changes it to white and changes all text to black (high contrast). Since Joe
never mentioned what his view keeps reverting to, I'll bet my first born that
Echo is right. Oh, all right, I have no children, so I'll bet my red hat.

That was it, high contrast was turned on. I unchecked it, all is copacetic
now.
