Users hierarchy

I would like to find information about Users hierarchy. In particular I
want to find just who has access to what. My simple understanding is that
the administrator has access to everything whilst individual users have
access only to their own files and, unless access has been denied, to all
system and application files. I'm sure it isn't quite so straight-forward
as this. I should appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction
of a web site source for some detailed reading.

Thanks.

Administrators - whether the built-in Administrator account or user
accounts with administrative privileges - have access to everything.
After that, it depends on whether you have XP Home or XP Pro.
