Users deleted files are returning

Hi,

We have a Windows2000 Server active directory which also hosts profile
directories.

When an ordinary user logs into a client machine and deletes a file from his
"my documents" folder which is mapped to the servers profile directory, the
file seems to disappear.

But if they log off and back in again - the file returns.

We do see synchronization messages quite often - which seems strange for the
small (15 pcs) setup we have.

So - any thoughts on why deleted files are returning?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Are any of the users logging onto multiple machines at once?

This can be a reason for changes not being quite as you'd expect...
