Users can only log in via VPN

I recently set up a new domain contoller, added all of
our users and everyone could log in fine. Now when ever
I change a password, or add a new user, the new user or
the user who's password was changed cannot log in on the
local network(all users who were entered before this
problem started can still log in OK), but CAN log in
through a VPN connection

Hi,

Could you please clarify the following:

When you change the domain password, the user can't logon to the domain any
longer while at the local network but is able to through VPN. Is this
correct?

If it is, please send me the output from "ipconfig /all" taken on your
client while on the local network (not able to logon) and after
establishing a VPN connection (able to logon). Also send me the same
output from your domain controller(s).
