Userenv

when I go into administration tools and the application tab on event viewer I
keep getting the Userenv warning at logoff with this message Windows cannot
unload your classes registry file - it is still in use by other applications
or services. The file will be unloaded when it is no longer in use. this has
only happened since the zero day direct x flaw was patched by the work
around. uninstalling the fix doesn't change anything it is just about the
same. my question is why the registry warning?

Thanks, the one other question I had was do the Userenv errors pose security
risks at all or is it just an error message?

Not that I am aware of. Generally they are programmes that have a
certain momentum (often anti-virus programmes fall into this category)
or they are poorly wriiten. It helps to shut open windows before
initiating shutdown. A system which is reliant on the pagefile can also
exhibit this type of problem.

Hope this helps.

thats what I wondered. I did have Kaspersky for a while before going back to
AVG but the error in the registry only happened after the workaround for the
zero day direct x flaw was patched.
