user32.dll

When I ran avg antivirus it reported that user32.dll in the system 32 folder
had changed. When I looked at the file it said it was modified on Dec. 28.
Should I worry about a change and can I download or copy from xp disk a new
file?

I did the sfc /scannow and my user32.dll still shows it was modified on Dec
28. Because it was changed doesn't necessarily mean the change had any
negative affect, correct? I went to an AVG forum and was advised that the
antivirus reports it just to make you aware, but if nothing was reported
infected not to worry.
