User profile recovered

I went into the control panel->advance tab and accidentally deleted a
user profile and my desktop setting all gone. Does the files still
there ? Anyway to get that user profile back ? Thanks

Usually no, if you do not have a backup of the data. When you delete a
profile, you are prompted for whether you want to save the data. If
you did so, the data should be kept in a separate folder on the
Desktop of the current user.
Also check in C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS for if the profile folder
still exists. If so, you may find some of the data here. Desktop and
other OS's settings can not be restored.
