I have XP home edition and have 3 users. Suddenly, the navigation menu from
user to user is gone in the start button and every time, I have to log off
from one account and the others have to logon kicking in Norton scan
everytime. I used to simply switch from one user to the other. How do I
restore user switching? Please help.

Do NOT put all of your trust in Norton, please. *Strongly* suggest that
you read this Tutorial -
http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=15574

Then see if the system can be scanned with the *Extended* setting at -
http://usa.kaspersky.com/services/free-virus-scanner.php

Once you've determined that malware is not causing the issue, then feel
free to post back and someone will assist you, Par.

if you go to start, control panel, user accounts, click ''change the way
users log on and off and click ''use the welcome screen'' and ''fast user
switching''
