user name and password

I would like to put a user name and password on my website, but can't seem to
get it to work. I am using FrontPage Extentions and am wondering if that is
what is preventing it from working. I am using ASP code and can get Access to
store my username and password, but can't get it to recognize a username and
password. Can you offer me any help with this? Any cool tutorials anywhere?

You might want to scare up a Front Page newsgroup/section for this question.
