User Logon & Logoff tracking

I have just migrated to to Win2000 server from NT4 server
and am having trouble finding fuctions and information.
For some reason the event log is not loging valid user
logins and logoffs. Also were in 2000 how do you find all
users currently logged on?
Any help would be appreciated.

First open start/run and then type in gpedit.msc and this
console will allow you to turn on the audits for the
server. If you are using Active Directory you could
setup a site Group Policy Object and apply the setting to
all your servers and computers if required.

If you right click on My Computer and then select manage
that will give you an option to manage your share folders
and see who is on the share with open files.
