User icons start-up screen

I have a problem with my opening screen. This actually happened many months
ago when I came back to college. I bought my computer during the summer and
had it all set up and then I went back to school. My log-on screen which
previously had been blue and had all the users names listed with a picture
beside dissapeared. It changed to a box that you have to type in the user
name along with the password when originally all the user names were lined up
on the screen and all I had to do is click on my name and type my password.
I haveno idea how to fix this, it is really rather annoying. Any help would
be wonderful!

Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off >
tick "use the welcome screen"
