Hi,

I'm facing the problem, that on my images no user friendly logon
appears after fba has run (its checked in TD). Well, normally not that
big problem, but I'm creating images for russian language, and the
default input keyboard is set to cyrillic. So I actually can not enter
"Administrator" on the normal logon interface, since input language is
also swtiched to russian. And I don't want to change it to english,
because all new users that become created will start in english by
deafult then.

So the user friendly logon interface would be that solution, but it
dosen't work. I don't have Netware Client in the component, so this
isn't the problem.

I think the problem may be offline browsing files. Can anyone tell me,
how to disable them by registry key?

Thx,
Steffi

Hi Steffi

Check following Components and RegKeys:

"Friendly Logon User Interface",
"Windows Logon (Standard)"

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"LogonType"= 1
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon "UIHost" =
"logonui.exe"

Hi Martin,
Check following Components and RegKeys:
"Friendly Logon User Interface",
"Windows Logon (Standard)"
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"LogonType"= 1
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon "UIHost" =
"logonui.exe"

Done. But isn't working. I think the reason is offline browsing. Well,
I got that in my image, I'll try to disable that component, and check
whether this will work - since you cannot check user friendly logon
interface, while offline browsing is enabled. But actually, I don't
want to get completly rid of the offline browsing, so I need reg key
just to disable it.

thanks anyway,
Steffi
