user account pictures

something is wrong with my User Accounts applet. When I go to change
picture, its says "Automation server can't create object"

and some users' pictures are just a blank box with a red "X" in the middle.

anyone know a way to fix this?

additionally, (not related) when I try to start some Human Interface service
(or something to that effect) in services, I get a "Could not start the
Human Interface Device Access service on Local Computer. Error 126: The
specified module could not be found"

ANy help would be most appreciated!

Try going to Start\Run and executing:

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Then return to User Accounts. Does this change anything?
