User Account Page

Hi folks
When the User Account page comes up......why does the number of unread email
messages AND the name of my hotmail address come up under my User Name ?

This means that info can be seen by all the other Users of my PC and I want
to hide this info !!!!

Any ideas ?

This requires a registry change. If you are not comfortable doing this, DON'T.

1 Click start and then rrun.
2 Type in regedit and click OK.
3 On the Registry Editor screen click File and the Export.
4 Choose a name for your backup file and then click Save.
5 Back in the registry Editor, click Edit and then Find.
6 Type in UnreadMail.

For each folder under UnreadMail:
1 Right click and select permissions.
2 Select SYSTEM from the upper box.
3 In the lower box, check Deny next to Full Control.

Restart the computer.

If you need to restore the resistry:
1 Perform steps 1-3 but click Import insteda of Export.
2 Find your backup file.
3 Click on it and click Open.
4 Click OK when finished.
