Useful Freeware and Open Source Programs (AbitUSA forum)

Being a newbie to this newsgroup, my apologies if I am not permitted to
post this. Since it's freeware related, I felt it could not hurt.

I have been a "freeware researcher" for some time, most active adding
freeware programs to the "Useful Freeware and Open Source Programs"
thread in Open Discussion at the AbitUSA Forum (and similar threads in
other forums). There may be some programs in that thread that have
already been added to the PL2005/2006 CDs. There may also be some that
were reviewed but did not make the cut. Still, it's a good reference for
those searching for free stuff.

There is a time limit to being able to edit your posts on that forum.
Some of the programs in the thread may now have newer versions.

Now that I have discovered this alt.comp.freeware newsgroup, I hope to
be very active here. I'd very much like to become a major contributor
and tester for Pricelessware.

Welcome, good to have you here. I went to the link and went through
your list, like a stamp collector "Yup, got that, nope don't have that,
yes but this is better." All in all, a terrific list, and keep it growing.
