Hi. I think i am losing it......i used an automatic vacation response with
outlook but now can't find "out of office assisant" on the tools menu to stop
it. I have never had an exchange server email account so I don't even recall
how I was able to set up an automatic vacation response to begin with??? No
one knows what is going on. I sent an email to myself and pulled up my auto
response and it said the server was sun java sytems messaging server??? any
ideas on how to stop this automatic vacation response?
thanks,
Sands

Do you have customized menus turned on? Right click on toolbar, go to
customize, click on Options. Check Always use full menus, click ok. Check
if you see it now.

Since you're not connected to an Exchange server, you CANNOT have the Out of
Office Assistant, since it purely a function of Exchange. So, you must have
created a rule. Use the Rules Wizard to turn it off.
