Use portrait and landscape orientation in the same presentation

I was using help in PowerPoint to Use portrait and landscape orientation in
the same presentation. I followed the directions, however, I can not make it
work. Both of my presentations are a photo album and this my be the problem.

Anyone use the "Use portrait and landscape orientation in the same
presentation" feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
