use microsoft drawing in my program.

Stee

I am trying to develop a supplement tool for Microsoft
Powerpoint 2000/2002. In this tool, I would like to use
Microsoft drawings like Table, shapes, and other clipart
functions in my program and make it more colorful.

How can I display and allow editing of Microsoft drawings?
Is it allowed through any OLE interface, etc?? Is it
possible by the way? I want to do this in VC++ using OLE
automation. Or any other suggestions? This is an urgent
requirement...plz some one help me out.

Thanks.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

Microsoft no longers offers Microsoft Draw as a separate OLE application.
Since Office 97, the drawing functionality in PowerPoint has actually been
provided as a core component built into the Office DLL's.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that the drawing
tools in Office should be available to use outside of Office, don't forget
to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
