I recently bought a hp 1315v all in one printer. When I plug in the usb cord
the computer tells me theere is an error in the usbhub, the required section
was not found in the INF. I contacted hp and they gave me some detailed inst.
the first one being to locate the usb.inf. file. I've searched the computer
over and again and it tells me there is no file. I've even went back to the
original windows 2000 disk and still no file. I know the usb ports are
working becouse my mouse is on a usb port. any suggestions? Thanks, Christine

Open "My Computer".
Click "Tools"
Click "Folder Options"
Click "View"
Select "Show Hidden Files and Folders"
Click "Okay"
Close "My Computer"

Now search for Usb.inf

Voila!

I don't know if this will help, but HP told me that I cannot use a hub with
my 7100 all-in-one printer, and it seems to be true. So I bought a multi-port
usb card and connected the printer directly. No more problems.
