I have a mustek 600 scanner which worked ok on windows98. Now I have
wondowsXP, when Itry to instal the sacanner the message says usb supplement
required. How do I get hold of this?

Contact the scanner's manufacturer to obtain WinXP-specific device
drivers and software for the scanner.

There is no XP drivers available for that scanner, you can try using the
Windows 200 drivers
http://www.mustek.com/product_resources/installation_instructions/installation-instruction-2k-1.html
but you might end up needing to buy a new scanner.

I had an older Mustek scanner for which there were no XP drivers. Used
Win2K drivers and a utility called FIXWINXP, both from Mustek Support site.

I also had a Mustek scanner.

My solution was to go all medieval on its a$$ with a baseballbat and spend
the 30 bucks for a new compatible scanner.

That solution might not work for you, but let me tel you, it is soooo
satisfying.
