USB PORTS

i have load the updated information of microsoft service
packs etc.. since then I have lost the Printer USb ports.

missing dll files olepro32.dll and msvcrt40.dll

also unable to load games something to do with
virtual ??? and JAVA

the whole system seems to be in a mess

No virus found on system
appreicate any help

I would just try a repair install of Windows since you feel everything
is fairly messed up. I would recommend slipstreaming Service Pack 2
into your XP CD before doing this. Here is a guide on how to slipstream:

To perform a repair operation, boot off your Windows XP CD, choose to
Install Windows, it will find the existing Windows installation and
offer to repair it, press R to repair and go from there :)
