USB gamepad makes game view drift down

I bought a USB game pad (

) to play America's Army. The problem is that the view in the game
steadily drifts downwards. I can correct the view it with the mouse,
but as soon as I stop using the mouse, the view drifts down again.

I've calibrated the gamepad using the control panel, and I've tried
various settings in JoyToKey (
http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey English Version.htm
).

I've searched google groups for answers, but haven't found any
solutions yet.

I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Hi soyelmango,

I have experienced the exact same behaviour with my Saitek
USB gamepad (which I love by the way) and Halo. What I
do to stop the view from drifting it to just give the directional
mini joystick a tap. Eventually though, it will start up again..
