USB Flask Disk; No Drive letter assigned

Hello All,
I created a new partition on my Win 2000 Pro system and
then cicked on Desktop->My Computer-> Manage-> Disk
Management and changed the new partition's drive letter
from F to D (Initially C=HDD, D=CD ROM, and E=DVD and after
reassignment C=HDD Part1, D=HDD new partition, E=Cd, F=DVD).
After doing this, my computer no longer assigns a
driver letter to the USB drive. I can see it on the
"Computer Management" screen, but not in the Windows file
manager.
Any ideas about how I solve this issue? Thanks.

It's dirty and low, but move DVD to G, it will free F :)

There's no harm in not having sequential drives. Most likely drive got
cached to F:

[ 4:09:28.62] [Administrator] G:\>drive
A: Removable
C: Fixed
G: Fixed
J: CD-ROM
K: CD-ROM
Y: Fixed
