usb drive problem

Hi all. When i remove the usb drive from my pc, my pc automatically reboots.
When i disable the "automatically restart' under "startup and recovery" from
system properties, my pc goes to blue screen with some memory dump message
after i plug out my usb drive. This usb drive is working fine on other pc and
was working fine on this pc until i installed zone alarm. Could it be due to
zone alarm? Thks in advance.

Do you use the Safely Remove Hardware button in the Notification Area before
disconnecting the drive?

I hit the sleep button, then remove memory cards and USB drives.
