Usage Of Open Office application in XP Embedded

Guest

Hi all,

We are using open office application and their libraries to generate reports
in our application portal. To access the portal site IE in the XP
Professional OS we are using, once the report is generated, file will be open
in open office application, for this Open Office application needs to be
installed in the client machine. We are planning to use XP embedded mobile
thin client devices instead of XP Professional PC's.

Is it possible to install Open Office application in XP Embedded ?

Is there any legal restrictions are there to install Open Office
applications in XP embedded devices?

Could any one help me to clarify the same.

Thanks in advance.

regards,
RMK.

Hi RMK

As long as the installed application belongs to the
embedded system, there are no license restrictions.

Embedded systems means for a deticated, industrial useage.
(No Home or Office use)
