URGENT - Rolling back SP2

S

Sitara Lal

I just completed a SP2 upgrade to my Windows XP Professional on my IBM
Laptop.

While the system works fine, my D: drive (second partition on my hard disk)
has disappeared along with all contents.

Could someone please suggest what I should do to recover from this? Is there
an easy way to roll back the SP2 upgrade? How?

Also, I noticed that the computer takes much longer to start up (i.e. be
ready for work from the time that the password is entered initially). Is
this a normal consequence of the SP2 'upgrade'? Is there any way to counter
this?

Thanks

There r hidden partitions- there but OS doednt see
them! Run C:\WINDOWS\system32\diskmgmt.msc & see if its
there.

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.
