URGENT PROBLEM PLEASE HELP! Error Message: Your System Has No Paging File, or th

On startup, before loading windows i get this error:
"Limited Virtual Memory
Your system has no paging file, or the paging file is too
small.

To fix this problem, go to System in Control Panel, click
the Advanced tab, and under Performance, click Settings.
On the Advanced tab, click Change. Click 'Custom size,'
and then type an initial or maximum paging file size."

I have tried the fixpage: Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article - 315270 but when i get to step 4, finding the
properties of my hard drive, there is no security tab on
the properties window so i cannot go any further. PLEASE
HELP!

my virual memory is not working and programs keep
closing.. what do i do?

Right-click on "My Computer" and go to Properties. From there, go to the
Advance tab and you should have three areas to work within: Performance,
User Profiles, and System and Recover. Choose the "Settings" button under
"Performance". This brings up a window with two tabs, "Visual Effects" and
"Advanced". Choose the Advanced tab and at the bottom it says "Virtual
Memory". Select "Change". This next window displays all of the drives
recognized by your system. I would suggest selecting your main install HDD
and make custom size settings of no less than 750Mb and no more than 1500Mb.
You must click on the "Set" button to apply these settings, and a reboot is
necessary.

Another option, after the final window pops up where you allocate your
virtual memory size, is to select the option for "System Managed Size"
instead of "Custom Size". This might be the best selection for you if you
don't know a lot about how it works.
